Moving tips

To start, how do you make the moving experience comfortable? Packing, labeling, unpacking can take a toll on your stress levels and sparks can fly.

Now here are a couple of suggestion that can help you:

1. List making: When you know you need to move your house, just don't do anything at once. Have a seat and take a paper and prepare a list of what you need to do and how. Rank the tasks base on their importance. Once your list is prepared, make copies of it and keep it hanging at some places so that you can review it.

2. Be logical, not emotional: It often happens that when you are packing, you come across all sorts of things and collections and memories which are no longer required but have an emotional value. Well, don't get drawn into emotions and pile up the luggage. Think practically and only pack what is needed. While packing, we also come across new stuff that has been stored for a rainy day and we forgot about it. Before you pack up, think if you really need it. If no then give it away to someone who needs it.

3. Categorize: Classify all your items in terms of rooms. Cups should be in the kitchen category and books should be in study room category. Always clean your items before they enter the box

4. Have fun: Remember errors do happen and it's human nature. We may forget to bring some stuff. Whatever mistake it is, give a laugh and carry on.

Finally, use a reputable mover. A trustworthy mover will greatly lower the amount of work for you and make your moving experience comfortable.
