Powerful Types of Goals -
Id like to suggest a couple of areas to consider when setting goals:
You might need to re-evaluate your quiet time with God or start one if you don't already spend time alone with God. Your spiritual goals will always be your goals with the highest importance. Don't leave it up to chance that you will spend quiet time with God. You must set aside time for God, or other things will fill your schedule. Every week you must plan on when and where you will meet with the Lord.
Also, another great spiritual goal is to join a small group within your church such as a prayer team, a Sunday school class, or support group that spends their time trying to find out God's answers to ways of constantly improving the lives of others and yourself. If no small groups exist within your church, it would be a great idea to offer your time and energy to start one of importance. Always focus on helping others achieve their goals in life, and God will take care of your life goals!
Another great spiritual goal to consider is serving others. Search for church ministries you could join to help other Christians that are in need, or better yet, search out and help people who don't yet know the Lord. And If you are currently attending a church but have not joined, consider becoming an official member to commit yourself. Make this the year you start giving back to your faith community, along with enjoying the benefits of fellowship.
Your Character goals are a very important part of your growth as a person, spouse, parent, child, friend, pastor, boss, or employee. See what answers you have to these questions:
1) What would I aspire to become?
2) If I could have God change one thing in me, what would that be?
3) What character quality, if developed, would make me a better parent, spouse, friend, etc.?
I would like to share some great character goals that I have for myself:
* A husband that is worthy of praise and respect
* A father worth respecting and imitating
* A leader that is worth following
I want to strive hard to achieve these goals for myself, because it will lead me to a deep sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. If I am able to achieve these goals, it will make my time on earth worth having been here. . . . And it will set a precedent and direction for my children that, if followed, will ensure for them the highest quality of life they can experience as well. Why do I know these objectives are important to me? Because that is what God has called me to be. Since I know why I want to achieve these goals, I will have the high motivation needed to make the right choices for achieving my goals, and it will help guard me when temptation comes at me.
It's Important to implement Your Actions Now -
It doesn't matter if your objectives involve relationships, finances, or health, don't waste any time feeling bad that you have not taken any action yet. Just start to focus on the areas of your life that need specific goals, and go to work on them. It is never too late.
Figure out where you want to be in a few months or a year from now, and then rely on God to give you the strength to stay on course. A good way to stay accountable to your goals is to ask a friend to hold you accountable and have them periodically check up on you.
It is now time to sit down and make a plan for the days ahead, so that you will make sure to use your time efficiently. With your goals in place and your schedule laid out, you will be amazed when you find out that you are among the very few to have completed year end goals for your Christian home based business. You will also find out that you have left very little undone in your business. - 21151
